BICI FRESH invests in latest generation technology

BICI FRESH has significantly modernised its installations, by investing in state-of-the-art technology for calibrating and detecting possible defects in the fruit. This equipment enables the firm to meet its customers ever more demanding quality standards and to continue to boost lemon production and export figures.

The firm moved into its new facilities in 2015, with amission to offer its customers superior services using the latest technology to expand into new markets. Great investments have been made in machinery, mainly in two Sunkist calibrators, the first on the market with six chambers each: four chambers for colour calibration and a further two chambers with laser technology for detecting translucent mould. These new installations mean that they can offer customers the following lines: Treated and conventional lemons. Non-treated post-harvest lemon. Treated, waxed lemons. Treated unwaxed lemons. Lemon specialists, supplied year-round with Spanish and Southern Hemisphere lemons, with a total annual volume of 40,000,000 kilos. BICI FRESH will be at Fruit Attraction 2016
